Drawing on the Daoist concept of 尘 (Chén), or dust, Chén imagines a world in which every being is formed from the same fundamental particle: Chén. The story unfolds through a conversation between two Chén as they reflect on their origins, existential crises, and desire to create bodies that ultimately become their prisons.
By decentering the human perspective, Chén questions the divisions between bodies and the boundaries between identities, inviting greater understanding and empathy among beings.
